About EduGears AI
What is EduGears AI?
EduGears AI is a company that builds AI-powered learning products. We make three: EduGears AI LMS, a white-label learning platform organizations run under their own brand; EduGears AI for Moodle & Canvas (EduGears AI LTI), a Moodle Certified integration that adds AI teaching tools to the LMS you already use; and EduGears AI Studio, an AI course-authoring studio for publishers, instructional designers, and teachers. All three share the same AI engine, grounded in your curriculum.
Which EduGears AI product do I need?
One question usually settles it. Want a learning platform of your own, under your brand and domain? EduGears AI LMS. Already running Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or Brightspace and want AI inside it? EduGears AI LTI — it installs in minutes and starts free. Do you create courses and deliver them to other people's classrooms? EduGears AI Studio. Still unsure? How do the three products work together?
They speak to each other through open standards. A course authored in AI Studio can play inside any LTI 1.3 LMS — including EduGears AI LMS — or export as SCORM, a Moodle backup (.mbz), or a Canvas Common Cartridge. The AI toolset behind our Moodle & Canvas integration is the same engine the LMS uses. You can start with one product and grow into the others without re-platforming.

What does EduGears AI LMS include?
A complete white-label LMS: your branding before login on your own domain, AI course generation from a syllabus, tutoring and question generation grounded in your materials, rubric-based automated grading, role-based dashboards and reports, and completion certificates issued as verifiable Open Badges 3.0 credentials. It also acts as an LTI 1.3 platform and imports/exports SCORM, Common Cartridge, and Moodle backups.
How does EduGears AI for Moodle & Canvas work?
It's an LTI 1.3 integration — the standard your LMS already supports. An administrator registers it once (it typically takes under 3 minutes), and the AI tools appear where faculty add activities: course and lesson generation, slides, study guides, quizzes, tutoring, and rubric-based automated grading that lands in your gradebook via LTI Advantage. It's a Moodle Certified Integration and works with Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, and Brightspace. Every platform starts free.
What can I do with EduGears AI Studio?
Import courses or documents you already have, enhance them with AI into structured courseware, and deliver them anywhere: publish an access code any instructor can redeem in any LTI 1.3 LMS (with live updates and grade passback), or download the course as SCORM, a Moodle backup (.mbz), or a Canvas Common Cartridge and import it yourself — no LMS admin rights needed.
Pricing & Billing
How is EduGears AI priced?
Each product has its own model. EduGears AI for Moodle & Canvas has public plans with a free tier — every platform starts free, and paid plans add AI credits and capacity. EduGears AI LMS pricing is tailored to your organization while we finalize packaging — contact us for a quote. AI usage across products is metered in simple AI credits, and bring-your-own-key (BYOK) is available if you'd rather run AI usage on your own provider account.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and remain active through the end of the paid period. There are no long-term contracts on self-serve plans.
How are payments handled?
Payments for self-serve plans are processed by Stripe — card details never touch our servers. Organizations that need invoiced billing (for example, EU institutions requiring VAT invoices) can contact us to arrange it.
Security & Privacy
How is our data handled?
Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), tenant-isolated at the database layer on the LMS, and never used to train AI models. We operate as a FERPA school official for US institutions and support COPPA-appropriate handling for young learners. Which AI models does EduGears AI use?
We work with multiple AI providers — including OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and others — and institutions can choose, or bring their own API keys so usage runs under their own agreements. Your content is never used to train models regardless of provider.

What's the fastest way to try EduGears AI?
If you run Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or Brightspace: register the LTI integration — it's free to start and takes minutes, and a single teacher can pilot it in a single course. If you're a course creator: open AI Studio and build or import your first course. If you want the white-label LMS: book a demo and we'll set you up with a pilot academy.
Do we have to migrate away from our current LMS?
No — that's the point of the product family. EduGears AI LTI adds AI to the LMS you already run, with no migration. If you later decide you want a platform of your own, EduGears AI LMS imports standard formats (SCORM, Common Cartridge, Moodle backups), so the move is yours to make on your timeline — not a precondition.
