Access Manage Roles from the top menu under Roles.

View all custom roles in a sortable, searchable table.

Click Add Role to create a new role with a display name and unique role name.

Select permissions by toggling individual features and functions, or use the master toggle to select all.

Edit an existing role to update its name or modify permissions. The built-in admin role cannot be edited.

Delete custom roles. Built-in roles (admin, student, teacher, parent) are protected and cannot be deleted.

Assign roles to users with optional expiration dates and scope them to specific pages or topics.

Roles control access to features like creating pages, managing users, grading, and sharing content.
